There is Hope When the Sun Rises

My mornings start with a walk at 7:00 with my dog and two friends. I spend time talking about politics and family. We converse with other walkers in the park about local topics, a new restaurant that just opened, the challenges of staying safe with COVID19, and ways to keep healthy and safe.

The best part of the morning is the sunrise. I have lived in Fountain Hills, Arizona, for ten years and can not resist the temptation of taking my cell phone out of my pocket at snapping a picture. I have hundreds of pictures, but I always need one more.

These pictures give me hope that our nation will heal from the hatred and division we are facing. I am posting these pictures to give you hope for a safe future.

A picture is worth a thousand words. I will leave you to your thoughts as you look at the pictures.

“It isn’t enough to talk about peace. One must believe in it. And it isn’t enough to believe in it. One must work at it.” —Eleanor Roosevelt.

“No person, no place, and nothing has any power over us, for ‘we’ are the only thinkers in our mind. When we create peace and harmony and balance in our minds, we will find it in our lives.” —Louise L. Hay

“Not one of us can rest, be happy, be at home, be at peace with ourselves until we end hatred and division.” —John Lewis

Peace to you my friends
